swapping the old AGS for a new one, and test if the error code returns. Very often the wiring harness presents corrosion, so make sure to check it for any damage BEFORE swapping the AGS. Corrosion in the harness disrupts communication with the AGS, which sets up the DTCs for AGS performance and lights the CEL. If the AGS is inop and it will be replaced and sent back to Stellantis also send back the wiring harness with it. Make sure to fully perform the PRE-DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE as indicated in the service library.

1.Identify Customer Concern Check for small traces of coolant near the water pump, especially around the weeper chamber.

Read full bulletin

Confirm if coolant is visibly dripping from the weeper chamber. 2.Root Cause identification The weeper chamber is designed to collect small amounts of coolant (< 3 ml/h) that pass through the dynamic seal. Red traces or shadows around the chamber may appear during initial operation due to seal adaptation or vapor condensation. These traces are not necessarily signs of a leak. Continuous dripping of coolant, however, indicates a malfunction. 3.Service Repair Procedure Lift the vehicle using an elevator. Verify if coolant is actively dripping from the weeper chamber. Run the engine at idle, alternating speed between 2000 4000 rpm for 15 minutes. Observe the weeper chamber during this test: If coolant continues to drip: Replace the water pump (possible permanent damage to the dynamic seal). If dripping stops: No further action is needed; the vehicle can be returned to the customer. 4.Clarify Leak Sources Do not confuse leaks from: The Press-In-Place rubber gasket (between water pump and engine block), or The inlet pipe nipples with leaks from the weeper chamber.

Technician's observations can refer to spongy or stuck hydraulic lash adjusters. Exhaust lash adjusters found with a "spongy" condition (compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. EXHAUST lash adjusters are designed to be COMPRESSIBLE by hand. Intake lash adjusters found with a stiff or stuck condition (non-compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. INTAKE lash adjusters are designed to be NON COMPRESSIBLE by hand. Do Not Replace EXHAUST lash adjusters when the following condition is present: should be compressible, but they will exert a reactionary spring force during compression and return to full expansion without a compression force. Do Not Replace INTAKE lash adjusters when the following condition is present: should feel very firm and difficult to compress. Once the correct functioning of the intake and exhaust lash adjusters is validated with the procedure above, refer to the Service Manual "HYDRAULIC LIFTER(S) NOISE DIAGNOSIS" procedure. After the corresponding service procedures from the Service Manual involving the Lash Adjusters have been conducted, refer to the detailed instructions in the Service Manual to diagnose and/or service any other component.

turning off, wipers not returning to position, heated steering wheel not working and/or steering controls inop, please follow these steps: 1.- Review if there is any active DTC. Refer to service library procedure and follow diagnosis steps. 2.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches', horn's, heated steering wheel, airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion or pinching, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 3.- Verify if failure is still present, review if there is lack of communication between SCCM and BCM. For example, activate turn signals or wipers. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session if BCM is receiving information from SCCM. Through diagnosis review if activation from horn, wipers or turn signal is requested and are working. 5.- Disconnect the SCCM fuse for around 30s,and repeat the previous steps to see if failure still present. 6.- Do a hard reset to BCM and evaluate if any DTC is set. Retest if failure still present. Review the active DTCs. 7.- Before replacing the SCCM disconnect it and reconnect it again. Note: Wipers position is not controlled by SCCM, verify motor wiper status if issue continues. If request from SCCM is sent to BCM, then verify if the communication to wipers is not working properly. If there are no DTC's active, physical defects, steering controls inop, wipers inop, heated steering wheel inop, then SCCM does not need to be replaced."

These conditions may be related to worn intake camshaft high lift lobe(s), and intake rocker arm(s) high lift slider. High mileage failure (10,000-60,000 miles). 1. Remove the valve cover(s) per the released service procedures. The use of a stethoscope or DTC specific cylinder misfire codes can help to locate the condition to the left or right bank. 2. Once it has been visually confirmed that there is wear on the high lift intake lobe(s) & rocker arm(s) slider, there is a special service kit for this type of repair which should be used, instead of replacing the complete engine/long block. This kit contains the parts required for the repair (intake cam, rocker arms, sealer and gaskets). Once it is confirmed that the repair will be done using the camshaft/Rocker arms kit, it is also important to confirm that the vehicle being repaired has the latest calibration/software update for oil pump operation mode (high pressure mode) during engine start up. RU, VF, WL & WD vehicles already include the latest oil pump mode in all 25MY and beyond. 24MY service releases are also available. JL & JT were updated as a running change in 24MY and beyond (08/15/24 & 08/19/24 respectively). 24MY service releases available. DT was updated starting 25MY and beyond. If the vehicle to be repaired is a 24MY vehicle with a service release available, please follow the released service procedures to update to the corresponding calibration/software update.

Inspect & check all electrical connections to the alternator a. 2-way connector containing field control circuit & alternator sense voltage circuit. b. Unplug & plug-in the 2-way connector for field & sense circuit. Verify the connection is tight & check for any bent pins in alternator connector or damage to female terminals in connector. c. Check Alternator B+ Stud connection to be sure nut is securing positive cable terminal properly (i.e. nut is clamping terminal & connection is tight). d. Check fuse between the alternator B+ stud & PDC terminal to make sure it is not blown. e. Be sure to follow service manual sections on ALTERNATOR CONTROL CIRCUIT DIAGNOSTIC & ALTERNATOR SENSE CIRCUIT DIAGNOSTIC looking for any opens & shorts (to ground or battery voltage). 2. Check/verify all grounds in the charging circuit a. Check tightness of mounting bolts securing alternator to engine block. Alternator is a case ground component. b. Check main ground from engine to chassis; connection must be tight. c. Check battery ground cable connections are tight. d. Potentially, loosen alternator mounting bolts, without removing alternator, and re-tighten to torque specifications in service manual. e. After all steps above are complete, re-start engine & check charging system operation. 3. Verify that the Smart Charging System is not the reason for alternator low voltage & current output (Amps). a. Alternator charging can be suspended during engine idle operation because of the Smart Charge strategy. b. Refer to service manual section "System Operation - Smart Charging System". c. Refer to Star Case S2008000031 Rev A for low charging voltage & Smart Charge Mode Voltage Range diagram & mode descriptions. d. The alternator has no internal regulator; thus, has no smart circuitry. All alternator control signals come from ECM. 4. If alternator is faulty, remove alternator & mounting bolts. Return alternator with bolts to QEC for analysis.

Inspect and check all connections to the starter motor solenoid a. Unplug and plug-in the T50 1-way connector as needed to verify the connection is good & tight and check for any bent pin in the connection. b. Inspect the T30 connection (i.e. B+ M8 threaded stud & nut) for tightness to assure cable ring terminal connection is secured and tight (use torque spec per service manual). 2. Check/verify all grounds in the cranking circuit a. Check tightness of mounting bolts that secure starter to the engine block b. Check main ground from engine to chassis c. Check battery ground cable connections are clean and tight d.Potentially, loosen both starter motor bolts, without removing, and re-tighten to torque specifications in the service manual e. After all steps above are complete, attempt to crank the engine to verify if improvement has been made (i.e. the steps fixed the customer complaint) 3. Conduct the voltage drop test (starter feed circuit) per the service manual before removing the starter motor 4. Starter Removal: conduct the removal if above steps do not fix the complaint a. Conduct bench test by applying 12 volts to motor T30 and T50 connections (i.e. conduct simple free speed test) b. Free speed test should result in starter motor pinion travel to pinion stop and rotation with normal rotational noise (i.e. no grinding, scrapping, etc.) c. If any abnormal noise is present, replace the starter motor 5. During starter removal, also remove and replace the two starter mounting bolts. Return the bolts with starter motor for analysis at QEC and the supplier warranty analysis lab.

observe that the interior door panel is not properly seated or attached. Panel(s) may appear warped or out of position in some areas. No signs of damage should be expected. How to diagnose: Visually inspect the door panel(s) for proper installation and check for the presence of broken or loose clips. Remove the panel and inspect clips and clip towers. Next step would be reinstalling the panel if visual inspection does not find any issues. Repair Procedure: Require a picture of the door panel(s) in the 'as found' condition so we can understand what warped means in the claims that are being created. After, check the door panel for proper installation and for the presence of broken or loose clips. Remove the panel, following normal servicing procedure, and inspect clips and clip towers. If any clips are broken or missing, replace prior to reinstalling original door. After confirmation that no loose/broken/damaged clips and/or clip towers, and reinstalling door panels does not correct issue, then a 'front door trim panel' kit / claim would be acceptable. In this case, Stellantis would like to request the panel back. How to validate fix: Verify that door has no loose/broken/damaged clips and/or clip towers. Replace any broken/missing clips where possible. Then validate that reinstalling the interior door panel addresses initial issue made within the claim.

Root cause was identified as anti-rotation bracket (connects the actuator to the stabar) coming loose due to inadequate clamp load at the joint and weld (holds the bolt shaft and bracket flange) was poorly designed. If any vehicle causes BSR because of this Bracket failure (loose joint/ bracket bends) DO NOT replace whole stabar assembly, instead replace with the service kit (PN#68730602AA). Dealer must need to order the parts from part ordering system for this claim. This kit contains 1 bracket (PN 68730603AA), 3 M10 Nut (PN 68730605AA), 2 M8X1.5 Bolt (PN 68730606AA) and 2 M10X1.5 bolt (PN 06513427AA). 1 M10 Bolt (PN 68730607AA). This kit will also contain a new torque instruction for the bolt which holds the clamp bracket to this failed anti-rotation bracket. DO NOT apply the old torque (45+/5Nm Direct torque). The new torque is Angle controlled torque monitor (20Nm Snug torque, 110 deg Angle, monitor torque within 40-70Nm). Please use Service Library for your reference."
