The parameter is set to provide an indicator no later than 965,400 km (approx. 600,000 mi), when it should have been set to provide an indicator no later than 300,000 km (approx.186,000 mi).

Under certain conditions the drivers side hood restraint strap, which is attached to the radiatorand hood, may become lodged behind the power steering cap. When opening the hood, the hood restraint strap may pull on the power steering cap resulting in the cap coming off of the reservoir.
