 The corrective action is to replace the AOC.

Model Year 2024 XC40 and C40 vehicles. Volvo Cars quality investigations have identified that some vehicles may have been built without the correct torque specification on the Electric Rear Axle Drive (ERAD) transmission housing. As a result, there may be oil seepage and/or noise/vibration. The corrective action is to inspect the ERAD transmission visually for leaks and follow the instructions outlined in TIE based on the outcome of the inspection.

If the coolant pump has an active leak, a photo must be taken prior to replacement (see example as in attached picture TJ_36923_3). The photo showing the active water pump leak on the vehicle must be saved for the TMA photo return process and provided when requested.
 Sealing improvements have been made to PNs 32382367, 32441161 and 32382368, but the part numbers are unchanged. To assist with identification of improved parts, a marking has been added to the parts: an "X," as shown in the attached document TJ_36923_1.pdf.
 If you receive a replacement pump that does not have the "X" marking, please return it and order a replacement
