Some customers experience separation of the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) lines from the connection ports in extreme cold temperatures. To prevent this, a process was developed to secure the lines with wire ties. A new reinforcement cap has been developed to simplify this process at the DEF connection fittings.

Daimler Trucks North America has released a new axle shaft to hub rubber O-ring (part number 11-30728-000) as a replacement for the paper gasket (part number 11-14418-000). The new O-ring will provide better sealing and is reusable. It is quicker and easier to use compared to the paper gasket, because using a paper gasket requires cleaning the hub when the axle shaft is removed.

Certain vehicles may experience interference between the front spring hanger bracket and the drag link during a right-hand turn. Vehicles will be inspected to determine if there is adequate clearance between the spring hanger bracket and the drag link. If clearance is not adequate, the pitman arm will be replaced.
