In some vehicles, the current software may cause the sub learning value control to operate improperly during the wake-up mode of the ECM. This could cause repeated erroneous learning of the accelerator position which can result in the disabling of the VDC function. When the VDC function is disabled, EyeSight, Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB), and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) auto release functions are disabled by the VDC fail signal causing the VDC, EyeSight, RAB and EPB warning lamps to illuminate. This program affects approximately 115,729 vehicles.

The changes are as follows: The CVT oil pan material has been changed from steel to aluminum. The new aluminum pan has a new, larger diameter drain plug and drain plug gasket. The new aluminum pan will be sold as a set consisting of: oil pan, drain plug and drain plug gasket. The bolts used to secure the pan to the case are now a flanged type instead of lock-washer type and are reusable.

Over time, if this condition exists, the brake pedal mounting area may deform. Deformation of the brake pedal mounting area could reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash. A total of 3,450 U.S. vehicles will be affected by this recall. The repair will involve an inspection of the suspect bolts in all potentially affected vehicles and replacement of the brake pedal assembly only if determined to be necessary.
