This data collection is applicable to all vehicle with engines with sales codes: ERG, ERC, EH3 and ERF. To assist with monitoring and quality improvement of the 3.6L engine, every time a vehicle comes for any of the first 3 oil changes, please use wiTECH to record the total engine idle time and the total engine runtime. 1. Prior to perform the oil change connect wiTECH diagnostic tool. 2. Navigate to the topology screen on the action item section. 3. Once the topology screen loads, disconnect wiTECH and continue with oil change.

For any other MY review and follow instructions from the latest STAR Online S1809000007 available on Dealer Connect. Also, consider the following: 1) Remove OFA 2) Replace only the oil inlet O-ring and gaskets (seals kit in SOL above). 3) Re-install the OFA. For 2023MY and beyond use black O-ring. For 2022MY and prior use red O-ring. Note: When replacing OFA, it may be necessary to transfer the Oil Temp/Pressure Sensor from the old OFA to the new OFA.

All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles: a) If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) must be replaced as they are one-time usage. b) Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. c) Vehicles built on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. Only use the reman 62TE specified in StarParts for each model year - Only use R8210327A$ for 2014 - 2018 VF. - Only use R8453637A$ for 2019 VF. - Only use R8599680AA for 2020/1VF. Installing a R8453637A$ or R8599680A$ in a 2014-18 VF will result in a 2014-18 MY core being returned. Mopar can no longer convert 2014-18 VF 62TE core to the 2019-21 version. Continued mis-usage will result in a core shortage. Mopar may deny warranty claims where the incorrect version is used in 2014-18 VF. 3. The engine to transmission dowel pins are critical to the longevity of several components. Verify the dowel pins are in the rear face of engine block before installing a replacement transmission. Mopar will add loose dowel pins with remanufactured 62TE. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter. 5. There may be incorrect fluid measurement on the dipstick tool when checking 62TE fluid level after filling the ATF as per service library specification. Please change with new valve body pan P/N:68145886A$ as there may be incorrect valve body pan is used in Transmission.

Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA, Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA For vehicle noise and flexplate found broken on vehicles> 50K miles. 1)Verify and Take pictures of the Trans/engine dowel pin holes, to see if the holes on transbell housing are oblong, send pictures to FCA Redacted Content. 2) Call FCA Redacted Content, if no oblongholes are found to arrange trans swap and fast track the trans back to QEC. If vehicle won?t move and has noise/leaking from transmission bell housing area, check transmission pump bushing. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. PTU V-seals are intended to act as a dust cover for stubshaft-PTU input shaft spline interface. PTU Input shaft seal (68408749A$) is intended to hold PTU oil and debris ingress; it should be replaced only if the fluid leakage is confirmed to be PTU oil and not ATX trans. fluid.

If the condition is replicated, then check: 1) for kinked or pinched Clean Air Hose between the ESIM and the EVAP Air Filter; 2) for plugged EVAP Air Filter; 3) for kinked or pinched Vapor Hose between the Fuel Tank and the Vapor Canister. If the EVAP Filter is restricted, the replace the Filter. -Check if the Vapor Canister is flooded with fuel or the Recirculation Line has fuel. If fuel is found in the Vapor Canister or the Recirculation Line, then drop the Fuel Tank, remove the FDM Lock Ring to check if the internal Vapor Line is properly connected to the FDM Port. If the Vapor Line is not connected, then drain the fuel from the internal Vapor Line and properly connect to the FDM. Replace the Vapor Canister and the ESIM."
