If there are customer complaints for wind noise or whistle on the driver side the mirror temperature sensor access door could be the root cause. The cause can be verified by re-creating the issue and then taping over the sensor opening. If after taping the noise is eliminated this is the cause. The temperature sensor access door is serviceable and should be the only component replaced. Do not swap a full mirror assembly.
