With an active NissanConnect Services subscription, the TCU communicates with the Nissan Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. CONSULT has been updated to allow DTC B2E01-96 for Internal battery to be cleared in the TCU. If DTC B2E01-96 is Current/Active in the TCU, and no additional Current/Active DTCs are present in the TCU, perform the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2.

issuing a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign on seven (7) specific 2021 and 2024 Nissan Titan vehicles identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History. Due to a supplier issue that has since been corrected, the Airbag Control Unit (ACU) baseplate in affected vehicles is missing a spacer that prevents interference between the ACU baseplate fastener end and the vehicles floor pan. As a result, the fastener may become loose due to potential floor pan interference. If the fastener becomes loose, the ACU will no longer be secure which could possibly result in a delayed inflation or non-deployment of the airbag; increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Dealers will replace the Airbag Control Unit. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Recall using Service Comm or DBS National Service history Open Campaign I.D. PD120 2. Dealers must not sell, lease, trade, rent or loan any vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this recall campaign until after the vehicle has been remedied. 3. Dealers should use NTB24-041 to remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign on certain specific model year 2021 and 2024 Titan and Titan XD vehicles to replace the air bag diagnosis sensor unit. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PD120 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealers responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealers inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

Water intrusion into one or both rear combination lamp assemblies has been found to migrate through the harness, and can cause harness connector terminals in C1/E41 to corrode (Figure 1 on page 2). Repair any damaged rear combination lamp assemblies immediately to avoid potential harness damage. Notice Harness connector terminals in C1/E41 found to be damaged through water intrusion due to a damaged rear combination lamp assembly is not warrantable.

Once an automatic collision notification is performed, the function becomes disabled and the TCU must be reset to re-enable the automatic collision notification function. Some models will store DTC B2E1B-97 for Automatic eCAll locked as CURRENT when this function is disabled. This bulletin describes how to reset the TCU after an automatic collision notification has been performed. A Rear Final Drive Assembly should not be replaced unless bearing, gear, or other significant damage has occurred. Possible points of fluid leaks: Front Oil Seal (Pinion Seal) Axle Tube Seal ABS Rear Wheel Sensor Rear Axle Wheel Bearing Seal Gear Carrier Cover Gasket Drain Plug IMPORTANT: If a Rear Final Drive Assembly is found to have been replaced for a repairable leak and no internal damage is present, the claim will be charged back. Refer to pages 2-5 for additional information that illustrates and/or describes some, but not all, possible points where fluid leaks can occur, as well as helpful service HINTs.
