with a smoke machine test coming from the fuel filler tube lower seal, AND DTC P0456 is stored as Active, Past, or Pending in the ECM. ACTION 1. Remove the supplied funnel from the rear of the vehicle or trunk. 2. Insert the funnel completely in the fuel filler tube and remove completely five (5) times. 3. Re-check the fuel filler tube lower seal with a smoke machine to determine visually if any leak is present. 4. If the fuel filler lower seal continues to leak, replace the fuel filler tube. APPLIED VEHICLES operates differently than those used in past models. The benefits of this new style of system are: More efficient use of fluid The windshield washer fluid spray does not block the drivers vision when cleaning the windshield The windshield washer fluid sprays directly onto the windshield only. This prevents the washer fluid from being sprayed onto the vehicle behind you, or nearby pedestrians. If the customer indicates that the front windshield washer is not working, or has poor performance, use the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin to confirm correct operation. If the windshield washer pump is found to be functioning properly, educate the customer on the system benefits, as indicated above. If the windshield washer pump is not be functioning properly, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information.

During manufacturing, the rear hatch glass cardboard lining became soaked in water and may have reacted with the silver in the defogger heating wires which may cause the defogger grid to separate from the hatch glass. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Service Campaign *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emission Service Campaign to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM), Transmission Control Module (TCU) and Shift Control Module (SCU) on 573 specific model year 2021 Nissan Rogue vehicles identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History. Affected vehicles may experience the following conditions: Air Conditioner (AC) blowing warm air at idling condition. A warning to apply the parking brake when the vehicle is stopped and is in gear; a CVT malfunction light when driving; a delay when shifting from Reverse to Drive; difficulty shifting into Neutral; as well as a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON. As result, the ECM, TCU, and SCU will be reprogrammed to address these conditions. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. front axle nut removed, for any reason, the staking of the nut into the axle keyway must first be removed. The essential tool (part number # J-52982, Figure 1) required to remove the nut staking, is called out as a Cape Chisel in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), and must be used to prevent thread damage to the axle (see Figure 2 on page 2). The Cape Chisel arrived at dealers in December of 2020. Damaged threads, due to improper removal of the stake placed in the nut, will not be covered by warranty. Nissan is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign on certain specific model year 2022-2023 Pathfinder and 2021-2023 Rogue vehicles to inspect, and if necessary, replace the Drivers Seat Rail. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification numbers PC966 and PC980 to this campaign. The applicable number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealers responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealers inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

Voluntary Service Campaign on certain 2021 Rogue vehicles identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History. The vehicles covered in this campaign were produced before Nissan implemented an update to the front passenger restraint system which improved the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) front passenger safety rating to four stars in the frontal crash test. To increase customer confidence and satisfaction, Nissan will replace the front passenger airbag, front passenger seat belt retractor, and reprogram the airbag control unit (ACU) with the updated parts. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Emission Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History Open Campaigns I.D. P2A08. 2. Dealers are requested to remedy any affected vehicles in dealer pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB22-063 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.
