variable transmissions (CVTs), and to address customer concerns including those expressed by customers in the class actions, Nissan will extend the warranty coverage on the CVT. The warranty extension includes the CVT assembly and internal CVT components, gaskets, and seals, CVT control valve body, torque converter, cooler kit (if applicable) and reprogramming of the Transmission Control Module (TCM), on the vehicles listed in this announcement. The warranty is being extended from its original duration of 60 months/60,000 miles to 84 months/84,000 miles (whichever occurs first). Coverage of other vehicle components remains unchanged, and all other terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of Nissans New Vehicle Limited Warranty continue to apply. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. If an owner contacts a dealer with a CVT concern in an owned or leased vehicle, verify warranty coverage for the specific VIN and then inform the customer of any diagnostic charges. NOTE: Some owners may have opted out of the warranty extension by excluding themselves from the class action settlement, thus it is important to check the VIN for each vehicle to verify coverage. 2. Use the appropriate Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) and/or Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to diagnose the root cause of the customer concern and identify the correct repair to resolve the customer concerns. NOTE: Dealers will need to follow the warranty process and obtain pre-approval from the Powertrain Call Center (800-973-9992, option 2) for any vehicles requiring CVT replacements when the replacement cost exceeds a Dealers Claims Administration/Authorization Limits (DCAL). Control valves and CVT belt and pulley kits do not require pre-authorization for repairs made under warranty.

a class action lawsuit gave final approval to a proposed settlement under which the CVT warranty will be extended for the following vehicles: 2014-2018 Rogue 2015-2018 Pathfinder *Not including Rogue Hybrid or Pathfinder Hybrid vehicles The approved settlement and the warranty extension are expected to become effective by June 1, 2022. Additional communication will be distributed prior to the warranty extension going into effect. To be clear, for the time being there is no warranty extension, and you should proceed with CVT-related claims as outlined below in bullet point three (3) under What Dealers Should Do. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. No action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide additional instructions prior to the effective date of the extended warranty, which is expected to be June 1, 2022. 2. If a customer contacts the dealer with a CVT concern in an owned or leased vehicle, dealers should use the appropriate Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) to diagnose the root cause of the customer concern and identify the correct repair to resolve the customer concerns. NOTE: Dealers will need to follow the warranty process and obtain pre-approval from the Powertrain Call Center (800-973-9992 Option 2) for any vehicles requiring CVT assemblies to be replaced. Valve bodies and CVT belt and pulley kits do not require pre-authorization. 3. If the vehicle is no longer covered by a powertrain or parts warranty, provide owners a repair estimate for test drive, diagnosis, and repair after consulting the goodwill guidelines available in the Assurance Product Resources Manual (APRM) or WBP/18-006.

Emission Recall Campaign on approximately 2,209 specific MY2018 Nissan Rogue (T32) and 5,557 specific MY2018 Altima (L33) 2.5L vehicles identified in Service Comm to inspect the engine identification markings and, if they are from the subject manufacturing lot, the suspect cylinders and spark plugs will be inspected. If necessary, dealers may replace the engine, exhaust manifold catalyst, air fuel (A/F) ratio sensor, and oxygen sensor. A machining issue in the engine may exist, which could allow oil to escape past the valve guides and enter the combustion chamber. If an affected engine is not repaired, the performance of the manifold catalyst could degrade over time and cause exhaust gas emissions to exceed standards at high mileage. This incident has no effect on safety or fuel consumption but may decrease engine performance in rare cases. If Nissan has previously replaced the engine in the vehicle due to this condition, the exhaust manifold catalyst, air fuel (A/F) ratio sensor, and oxygen sensor will be replaced. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Verify campaign applicability using Service Comm or DBS National Service History Open Campaign I.D. PC716 - Inspect Engine Identification Markings PC717 - Manifold Catalyst Replacement 2. Dealers should use the appropriate campaign bulletin to remedy any vehicles subject to these campaigns: PC716 NTB20-025 PC717 NTB20-027 3. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary emissions recall campaign on certain specific model year 2018 Altima and Rogue vehicles. The exhaust manifold and three way catalyst assembly and two exhaust sensors will be replaced. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC717 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealers responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary emissions recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealers inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of an emissions recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

safety, security and satisfaction of our customers and their passengers. Nissan is upgrading an existing Customer Service Initiative to a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain Model Year 2017-18 Rogue (T32), Rogue Sport (J11), and Rogue Hybrid (T32H) vehicles to reprogram the Radar and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) components of the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system. Covered vehicles that were not updated under NPSB/18-443 will be reprogrammed with updated software to improve system functionality through reduced false positive AEB activation in certain driving environments. In rare instances and unique roadway environments such as certain types of railroad crossings and metal overpasses, the AEB system in some vehicles may activate braking when it is not needed. The driver can always override the AEB system by pressing the accelerator. Nissan previously invited customers that had experienced an issue with their AEB system to come in for updated software before their Limited Vehicle Warranty expired. Now, Nissan is encouraging owners to have this important software update performed without regard to any issues or warranty status. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.D. P9327. 2. Dealers should reprogram the Radar and ADAS software on any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory to help ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB19-064 to inspect and, if necessary, remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle.

between January 11, 2013 and April 23, 2013, will receive a notice from a settlement administrator informing them of the terms of a proposed class action settlement. The settlement, if approved by the presiding court, could extend the warranty on the paint for four years and provide a one-time full vehicle repaint (subject to a copay). Eligible owners can also obtain coverage for any reasonable and necessary rental car coverage arising from the repaint, or reimbursement of amounts previously incurred for a one-time repaint and any reasonable and necessary rental car services arising from the repaint. The settlement also provides for eligibility in Nissans Vehicle Purchase Program. To be clear, unless and until the proposed settlement is approved by the presiding court, there is no warranty extension or other remedy and you should proceed with paint-related claims in the ordinary course. The proposed settlement, and the associated potential warranty extension, include many terms and conditions. Rather than attempting to address questions about the proposed settlement terms from customers, Nissan recommends dealers refer customers to the website listed below. This will enable owners to receive information from appropriate sources and avoid providing incorrect and/or incomplete information to customers. The website is currently live and available to inquiring customers. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. No action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide additional instructions once the proposed settlement is approved by the court. 2. If a customer contacts the dealer with a white paint concern and/or references this settlement notification, dealers should refer the customer to the third party administrators website for additional information. www.vehiclepaintsettlement.com
