APPLIED VEHICLES listed above: If the jackknife key is replaced with 80560-4BA1E, the new part provided will no longer be equipped with a key blade. New service parts will have a keyless entry remote with a separate mechanical key. Each vehicle can have a maximum of four (4) keys registered to the BCM. Each service part contains one (1) key and one (1) remote and will use two (2) of the available slots. Follow the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2 to register the new mechanical key and remote.

replacement of the AV Control Unit, it is necessary to verify the current software version of the AV Control Unit to determine if a software version update is required. Use the vehicle tables in this bulletin to determine the current software version, if the AV Control Unit requires a software version update, and which procedure to use to update the AV Control Unit. The software updates in this bulletin are to address stability improvements and bug fixes. IMPORTANT: If the customer is experiencing a software related concern, refer to NTB21-038 to verify if the customer concern is a hardware or software related issue. If the concern is a software related issue, review the information in this bulletin to update the AV Control Unit as needed.

SERVICE INFORMATION If the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) warning light or is blinking (but not illuminated steadily) or the customer states it is blinking, and there are no related DTCs, inspect the windshield. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When the lane camera viewing window on the windshield is temporarily fogged up. found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) availability. If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the dealer. If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to NTB21-013 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.
