These types of lubricants can be detrimental to the proper operation of electrical components.

Inspect the front strut housings, near the front strut coil springs, for excessive body caulk (seam sealer) contacting the coil spring. 2. If a coil spring is contacting the seam sealer, remove only enough seam sealer to provide clearance for the coil spring to move freely. To prevent damage to the vehicle: - Take care to not remove paint from the strut housing. If bare metal is exposed, it must be repaired with self-etching primer. - Do not remove the seam sealer to the point that it no longer covers the seam. If the seam is exposed it must be repaired with the appropriate seam sealer.

Campaign to inspect and, if necessary, replace the drivers door on certain 2020 model year Nissan Maxima (A36) vehicles. Nissan has determined that three vehicles were produced with a drivers door that does not meet Nissan quality standards. What Dealers Should Do: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History Open Campaigns I.D. PC768. 2.Dealers are requested to inspect and, if necessary, repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information 3.Dealers should use NTB20-087 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4.Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

voluntary service campaign, on certain specific model year 2020 Maxima vehicles, to inspect the spot welds on the drivers door. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC768 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealers inventory.

found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) availability. If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the dealer. If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to NTB21-013 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.

Use the vehicle tables in this bulletin to determine the current software version, if the AV Control Unit requires a software version update, and which procedure to use to update the AV Control Unit. IMPORTANT: If the customer is experiencing a software related concern, refer to NTB21-038 to verify if the customer concern is a hardware or software related issue. SERVICE INFORMATION If the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) warning light or is blinking (but not illuminated steadily) or the customer states it is blinking, and there are no related DTCs, inspect the windshield. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the lane camera viewing window on the windshield. When the lane camera viewing window on the windshield is temporarily fogged up.
