OCCASIONALLY WATER IS NOTICED IN THE EXTERIOR LAMPS. THIS IS GENERALLY NOT DUE TO A DEFECT. ALL CURRENT EXTERIOR LAMP ASSEMBLIES ARE VENTED TO THE ATMOSPHERE (NOT SEALED). THIS IS NECESSARY TO ALLOW FOR EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION OF AIR FROM TEMPERATURE VARIATIONS (WARMER OR COLDER) WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE LAMP. MOISTURE IN THE AIR SOMETIMES TRAVELS INTO AND OUT OF THE LAMP ASSEMBLY THROUGH THESE VENTS. CERTAIN ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE MOISTURE TO CONDENSE. control valves (valve bodies) now come with blank Transmission Control Modules (TCMs). Blank TCMs come without software and must be programmed (not reprogrammed) and then configured after they are installed. When ordering a replacement A/T or control valve, use the Nissan electronic parts information systems to obtain the correct software program part number See this bulletin for further detail.

* The valve stem length of both intake and exhaust valve has been increased (Figure 1) and are a direct replacement for the shorter style valve. * The related valve lifter cup has been shortened (Figure 2) and the point at which the valve lifter contacts the valve stem has been shortened (not shown). Campaign Summary***** In 2007, Nissan launched a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain MY2004-05 Quest and Armada vehicles equipped with optional seat-mounted side air bags to inspect and, if necessary, replace the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Diagnosis Sensor Unit. In a small number of these vehicles, an incorrect SRS Diagnosis Sensor Unit may have been installed after an accident repair or part failure. If an incorrect part installation occurred, the optional seat-mounted side air bags may not deploy during a crash. This service campaign is expiring because the required parts and tools are no longer available. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Service Comm will deactivate P7245 on any unrepaired VINs on March 20, 2019. - No further action is required. 2. Dealers should submit any open claims for this campaign as soon as possible. Nissan would like to have all claims submitted by March 29, 2019.

INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign on certain specific model year 2004-2012 Armada, 2004-2012 Titan, and 2004-2009 Quest vehicles, to inspect and if necessary, replace the driver Air Bag Cover. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification numbers PC944, PC946, PC947 and PC949 to this campaign. The vehicle specific number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealers responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealers inventory.
