*****Detailed Information***** Nissan is conducting a quality action to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the fuel pump lock ring on one hundred eleven (111) specific 2019 Altima (L34) FWD only vehicles identified in Service Comm. In rare occurrences, the lock ring may be completely disengaged which may require the fuel pump module and seal to be replaced. Due to a supplier issue that has since been corrected, it is possible that the fuel pump module?s lock ring is not fully engaged. If partially locked, it is possible for the fuel pump module?s lock ring to rotate to an unlocked position due to vibration during normal driving conditions. This condition may result in MIL illumination, fuel smell, and/or a rattle noise associated with the fuel pump module plastic flange. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles currently in new dealer inventory are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC692 - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability.

committed to providing the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction. Therefore, Nissan is extending the emission warranty coverage on the model year 2019-2020 Altima Active Grille Shutter to 15 Years or 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first. All other warranty terms, limitations, and conditions remain unchanged. On affected vehicles, over time, the shaft connecting the grille shutter motor and shutter louvers may become twisted and/or cracked resulting in the shutter remaining in the closed position and illumination of the malfunction indicator light (MIL). This issue will have no effect on vehicle safety or drivability, but the vehicle may experience reduced fuel efficiency. During the limited emission warranty extension period, owners are eligible for free replacement of the Active Grille Shutter if a MIL-On condition occurs with DTC P059F and/or P159F that requires replacement of the grille shutter assembly. Owners of eligible vehicles will receive notification of this limited emission warranty extension during December 2023. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are eligible for this Warranty Extension using the warranty extension page of Service Comm. 2. If a customer contacts the dealer with an Active Grille Shutter concern in an owned or leased vehicle, dealers should use the ESM to diagnose the root cause of the customer concern and identify the correct repair to resolve the customer concerns. NOTE: Dealers will need to follow the warranty process and obtain pre-approval when the repair cost exceeds a Dealers Claims Administration/Authorization Limits (DCAL). 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed.

Engine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram California Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** ...
Read full bulletin
Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign on approximately 104,221 specific Nissan vehicles identified in Service Comm and currently registered to owners in the state of California to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) in the event that a permanent diagnostic trouble code (P-DTC) for P0448, P0101, P2008, or P0087 is recorded in the ECM. Due to calibration errors on the affected vehicles, the ECM may improperly store a permanent diagnostic trouble code (P-DTC) even though the emissions on-board diagnostic system is functioning properly. As of July 1, 2019 the State of California has implemented a revised Inspection Maintenance (I/M) or Smog Check test program. Without the software update, the subject vehicles may not pass this Smog Check test in those areas of California where such testing is required under state law. This incident has no effect on the safety, performance, drivability, or fuel consumption of the applicable vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History Open Campaigns I.D.
