An improper Permitted Torque threshold may then cause false MIL illumination. A software update optimizes the Permitted Torque threshold value to minimize false MIL illumination.

If the plastic parts of the key are broken or missing, but the key functions properly, use the appropriate service parts kit instead of replacing the entire key assembly.
