noise from the front audio speakers that changes with engine RPM. This may be due to a software concern with the active noise cancellation system. Replacement of audio system components will not resolve this condition. Advise customers that engineering is currently investigating and developing a software solution that is expected by the end of Q1 2027.<br/ ><br /> If experienced, customers can temporarily clear the abnormal noise condition by stopping the vehicle in a safe location, placing the transmission in park, then pressing the audio volume control/power button 5 times until the vehicle center screen begins to reboot. The condition should also be temporarily resolved after parking the vehicle with the ignition off, doors locked, and keys moved more than 15 feet away from the vehicle allowing all systems to go to sleep for at least 15 minutes.<br/ ><br /> If a vehicle exhibits this condition, click on the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the Professi

BYBAL) may exhibit a concern where the instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays "Seat Cannot Lock Do Not Use" for one or both second row seats. This message can appear if the seat control module-J (SCMJ) is offline. If the Ford Diagnostic Repair System (FDRS) shows the SCMJ offline during a network test, determine if a battery disconnect/connect restores SCMJ communication. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-01. If not, diagnose communication faults referring to WSM, Section 418-00A.<br /><br /> If no communication faults are present but seat cannot lock warnings occur, engineering seeks feedback on latch sensor circuit voltage while the concern is present. Access (but do not disconnect) connectors C3136/C3135 under the affected second row seat(s). Using a multimeter, connect negative lead to body ground. Using a flex probe or similar, back probe terminals 2 and 22 on C3135 and record the voltage. Back probe terminals 8 and 23 on C3136 and record the voltage.

holders that has become separated. Engineering is aware of this condition and is investigating a service solution that will enhance the performance of the cup holder slider. This solution is expected to be available by the end of Q1 2027. If the customer is not willing to wait for the enhanced service solution, replacement of the second row floor console cup holder assembly is acceptable. Note that the replacement of the cup holder assembly will have similar performance attributes for the slider as the original cup holder assembly that is being replaced. Should the customer choose to wait for the enhanced service solution, schedule an appointment with the customer when the repair is made available in Q1 2027. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for updates.

where the second-row seat does not return to the latched position (under power) after pressing the power return button (located on the outboard side of the seatback). To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be caused by an occupant pulling the manual release strap. The manual release strap is intended to be used in emergency situations only where power seat operation is not available. Pulling the manual release strap disengages the seat pitch motor clutch. To correct the condition, the seat pitch motor clutch must re-engage with the seating system. Starting with the seat in the rearward position, press the power seat pitch button once and release it. While the seat is in motion, gently guide the headrest and seatback downward, moving the seat approximately halfway down toward the strikers (without

the power running boards are unable to deploy or retract with a "Power Running Board Fault" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) C1008:15 and/or C1009:15 may be stored in the driver seat module (DSM). DTC U0208 and/or U0244 may also be stored in various other modules. Other DSM functions may be affected such as heated/cooled/memory seats. This may be due to the software in the DSM.<br /><br /> If the DSM does not respond during a network test, press the power seat adjustment switch then re-run the network test to see if DSM communication is restored. Engineering requires feedback for this action. Submit a Global Concern Report (GCR) indicating if DSM communication was restored after actuating the power seat adjustment switch, noting the DTCs present. To submit a report, click on the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the Professional Technician System (PTS) Vehicle ID screen (vehicle identification number VIN requi

the power running boards are unable to deploy or retract when entering or exiting the vehicle with a "Power Running Board Fault" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software in the driver front seat module (DSM). Replacing components and reprogramming software will not resolve this issue. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a software solution for this condition that is expected to be available by Q4 2026. If a vehicle comes in for this condition, inform the customer that powering the vehicle off for 5 minutes with all of the doors closed will temporarily restore operation of the power running boards. Once available, software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicles settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update by November 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and

cannot lock, Do not use" warning message for second row seats without any relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. The second row seat(s) may also exhibit a rattle noise while driving from one of the seat latches without a warning message. This may be due to one of the power seat latches losing its learned home position. To relearn the home position, start with the seat down and latched. Press and hold the power return button on the seat back for at least 5 seconds. Release the return button. Wait 20 seconds, then confirm proper power pitch and stow operation of the affected seat. Road test the vehicle above 5 MPH (8 km/h) to confirm the warning light and/or rattle concern is resolved. For claiming, use causal part 7863161 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D45. If the concern persists, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10B for normal diagnostics and repair the vehicle outside of this article. may experience various system concerns. Rear seat entertainment systems are not on a controller area network (CAN) and are not supported by the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS). Certain system concerns may be resolved through software updates which will automatically download once each individual monitor is connected to Wi-Fi. Diagnostic support for rear seat entertainment systems is provided by VOXX electronics. If necessary, contact the VOXX Customer Service Department at 1-866-869-7888. If possible, record the device serial number by selecting the gear/Setup icon > Settings > Device and Software > About. If the unit will not power up, the serial number is on a label on the back of the monitor. It is helpful to know the date the issue occurred, how long the monitors were on prior to the issue, what app/input/media was being used, and if the system software was recently updated prior to the concern starting. For claiming, refer to the Warranty and Policy manual for
