Tool (SST) USB flash drive to update the map, points of interest, and system software. The SST is used with applicable vehicles to deliver the update, however, the process for generating license keys differs from previous generations. Before attempting to perform a map update, the expiration date of the dynamic subscription (stored in the head unit), must be checked. If the expiration date has not passed, a license key may be generated without the purchase of an activation card number (ACN). Updating the map without the use of an ACN is considered an Embedded Navigation Update (refer to pg. 10) and performing this update does not extend the subscription to dynamic map services. If the subscription period has expired, or is expiring within the next 90 days, it should be recommended to the customer to purchase an ACN. Utilizing an ACN, will initiate the Dynamic Navigation Update (refer to pg. 4). This Dynamic Navigation Update will perform the embedded navigation update and provide dynamic map services for a period of two years from the date that the Dynamic Navigation Update is performed. Download and installation of Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 is required to activate the Scout GPS Link app before it can be used for the first time on new vehicles. The download and installation process may also need to be performed under other circumstances, such as following a head unit replacement, or after the customer's personal settings are erased. The download and installation process requires between 9 and 15 minutes to complete, depending on the file size, cellular connection speed, and other factors. Following the download and installation process, Scout GPS Link and Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0 updates may also occur via an over-the-air update system. Follow the procedure below to perform the download and installation process.

L-SB-0108-17. ? Applicability has been updated to include 2019 model year UX200 and UX250h vehicles. Service Bulletin No. L-SB-0108-17 is obsolete and any printed versions should be discarded. A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer?s responsibility to maintain the specified State-Of-Charge (SOC) of the vehicle?s battery while in stock and ensure proper SOC at delivery. This Service Bulletin provides best practice procedures for vehicle pulling complaint, diagnosis, and repair for 2002 ? 2021 model year Lexus vehicles. This information supplements Repair Manual procedures when the symptoms are: ?Vehicle Pulling: The vehicle moves to the right or left when the driver holds the steering wheel while driving straight ahead without exerting steering effort. ?Steering Wheel Off Center: The vehicle travels straight, but the steering wheel is not pointed straight ahead. The vehicle is not pulling. Before repairing a vehicle pulling to one side, it is necessary to clearly identify the cause of the pulling condition. Frequently, pulling to one side is diagnosed as a wheel alignment concern. However, the actual cause may be related to the lateral force generated by the tires, vehicle damage, road crown or worn components. Performing a wheel alignment when tire force is the cause could result in the wheel alignment being set at a value outside of specifications. This could then cause other problems such as uneven tire wear, etc. A customer may notice a pull to the left when in the left lanes of travel and notice a pull to the right or no pull when traveling in the right lanes of travel on the very same section of roadway. This road crown effect is environmental and cannot be corrected with suspension adjustments or any other wheel or tire modification discussed in this bulletin.

Wheel offset, defined as the distance between the wheel?s centerline and the wheel-to-rotor mounting surface, affects the clearance between the back of the wheel and surrounding brake components (Figure 1). Installation of a wheel with an offset or width different than the correct specification, such as installing the rear wheel on the front, can cause damage to brake components due to interference between the wheel and adjacent parts. The wheel could contact the brake caliper thereby introducing stress into the caliper, brake rotor, and potentially other components. In some cases, this stress could contribute to cracking or separation of the brake rotor.
