Mopar all-weather floor mats, especially the front mats. The all-weather mats are installed without removing the slit/perforation portion of the front carpet, which blocks the drain port on the all-weather mats completely and does not allow water/any liquid to get drained out of the vehicle through the drain hole on the underbody floor. Correct Installation Method for Mopar All-Weather Floor Mats 1. Find the slit/perforation on the front carpet (near the outboard mat post on the carpet )and cutout that piece from carpet. 2. Remove Drain Plug on the drain hole on the underbody floor 3. Install the All-Weather Mat. Make sure the mats built-in drain port lines up correctly into the drain hole on the floor. 4. Insert the drain plug in the drain port on all-weather mat to close the drain port. The plug is to be removed whenever there is need to drain water on the mat or to wash out dirt without removing the mat form the vehicle.

11026661

Issue Description In JL/JT vehicles, the front carpets have a perforated section below the drain plug instead of a fully punched-out hole.

Read full bulletin

This causes several problems: . Dealers often install all-weather mats without removing the carpet cutout, which completely blocks the drain. . Missing drain plug claims occur because the plug is not clearly visible. . Customers find it difficult to locate and access the drain plug, especially when the vehicle is muddy. Correct Installation Method for Mopar All-Weather Floor Mats To ensure proper drainage, follow these steps: 1. Identify the Issue: . Some owners place the all-weather mats directly over the carpet, blocking the drain hole even though the mat has a drain port. 2. Locate the Carpet Cutout: . Under the mat area, there is a pre-cut carpet section designed to be removed. 3. Remove the Carpet Piece and Plug: . Lift or cut out the small square of carpet to expose the metal floor. . Remove the rubber drain plug from the Jeeps floor. 4. Install the Floor Mat: . Place the all-weather mat back into position. . Align the mats built-in drain tube with the drain hole on the floor to form a proper seal. 5. Reinstall the Plug into the Mat: . Insert the drain plug (removed from the floor) into the drain hole on the mat. . This allows you to open the plug anytime to wash out dirt or water without removing the mats. Benefits . Enables washing the mats with a hose while they remain inside the vehicle; water drains directly to the ground instead of soaking the carpet. . Prevents water from getting trapped under the mat, avoiding carpet damage.

Power top /sky one touch switch falls out of the bezel or is pushed inside it or won't stay in place.Or if there's miscalibration in the power top.

Read full bulletin

If the switch has no physical damage, is not broken or separated, but still doesn't stay in place, verify that the bezel brackets that hold it in place are broken and are the cause of the problem. If the bezel is broken, and the switch is not, replace only the bezel trim, DO NOT replace the switch. If there's miscalibration in the power top, and there's no physical damage to the switch and it works accordingly, DO NOT replace the switch.

1.Identify Customer Concern Check for small traces of coolant near the water pump, especially around the weeper chamber.

Read full bulletin

Confirm if coolant is visibly dripping from the weeper chamber. 2.Root Cause identification The weeper chamber is designed to collect small amounts of coolant (< 3 ml/h) that pass through the dynamic seal. Red traces or shadows around the chamber may appear during initial operation due to seal adaptation or vapor condensation. These traces are not necessarily signs of a leak. Continuous dripping of coolant, however, indicates a malfunction. 3.Service Repair Procedure Lift the vehicle using an elevator. Verify if coolant is actively dripping from the weeper chamber. Run the engine at idle, alternating speed between 2000 4000 rpm for 15 minutes. Observe the weeper chamber during this test: If coolant continues to drip: Replace the water pump (possible permanent damage to the dynamic seal). If dripping stops: No further action is needed; the vehicle can be returned to the customer. 4.Clarify Leak Sources Do not confuse leaks from: The Press-In-Place rubber gasket (between water pump and engine block), or The inlet pipe nipples with leaks from the weeper chamber.
