1.Identify Customer Concern Check for small traces of coolant near the water pump, especially around the weeper chamber.

Read full bulletin

Confirm if coolant is visibly dripping from the weeper chamber. 2.Root Cause identification The weeper chamber is designed to collect small amounts of coolant (< 3 ml/h) that pass through the dynamic seal. Red traces or shadows around the chamber may appear during initial operation due to seal adaptation or vapor condensation. These traces are not necessarily signs of a leak. Continuous dripping of coolant, however, indicates a malfunction. 3.Service Repair Procedure Lift the vehicle using an elevator. Verify if coolant is actively dripping from the weeper chamber. Run the engine at idle, alternating speed between 2000 4000 rpm for 15 minutes. Observe the weeper chamber during this test: If coolant continues to drip: Replace the water pump (possible permanent damage to the dynamic seal). If dripping stops: No further action is needed; the vehicle can be returned to the customer. 4.Clarify Leak Sources Do not confuse leaks from: The Press-In-Place rubber gasket (between water pump and engine block), or The inlet pipe nipples with leaks from the weeper chamber.

Symptoms/Condition: Shifter reports loss communication AND NO OTHER MODULES report the condition.

Read full bulletin

Diagnostic: Please make sure ONLY shifter reports loss communication. If there are other modules reporting loss communication, then follow the existing service procedure Repair Procedure: 1. Verify Complaint - ESM reports a Loss of Communication (LOC) DTC, but no other modules do. - If multiple modules report the same LOC, the ESM is not the cause (its not a gateway module). 2. Read DTCs - Relevant codes: U0101, U0140, U0155, U0129, U11C3, U0402, U0422, U0423, U0415, U145D. - If multiple LOC DTCs are present: a. Check battery health, system voltage, and TCM (including valve body). b. If TCM goes offline, ESM may falsely report LOC DTCs. 3. Check Environmental Data - Look for voltage/system issues at the same mileage. a. If DTCs clear, do not replace ESM. b. If not, inspect: b.1 Module connectors/pins: If damaged, dont repair shifter. b.2 TCM connectors/pins: Same rule. b.3 AGSM connectors/pins: If damaged, repair shifter. b.4 AGSM wiring harness: If damaged, dont repair shifter. 4. Review Past Service - Confirm battery and TCM-related repairs are still effective. a. If not, fix and clear DTCs. b. If yes, continue. 5. Check for Other LOCs - If other modules report LOC to the same module, inspect that module. - If not, repair the AGSM. Additional Description: - The ESM only communicates with the TCM and is fully controlled by it. - In non-combustion engines, the TCM is replaced by the PCM. - If a stored DTC in the ESM disappears and doest return, do not replace the ESM.

ADJUSTER Valve Lash Customer's complaint may include a ticking noise coming from the engine.

Read full bulletin

Technician's observations can refer to spongy or stuck hydraulic lash adjusters. Exhaust lash adjusters found with a "spongy" condition (compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. EXHAUST lash adjusters are designed to be COMPRESSIBLE by hand. Intake lash adjusters found with a stiff or stuck condition (non-compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. INTAKE lash adjusters are designed to be NON COMPRESSIBLE by hand. Do Not Replace EXHAUST lash adjusters when the following condition is present: should be compressible, but they will exert a reactionary spring force during compression and return to full expansion without a compression force. Do Not Replace INTAKE lash adjusters when the following condition is present: should feel very firm and difficult to compress. Once the correct functioning of the intake and exhaust lash adjusters is validated with the procedure above, refer to the Service Manual "HYDRAULIC LIFTER(S) NOISE DIAGNOSIS" procedure. After the corresponding service procedures from the Service Manual involving the Lash Adjusters have been conducted, refer to the detailed instructions in the Service Manual to diagnose and/or service any other component.

turning off, wipers not returning to position, heated steering wheel not working and/or steering controls inop, please follow these steps: 1.- Review if there is any active DTC. Refer to service library procedure and follow diagnosis steps. 2.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches', horn's, heated steering wheel, airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion or pinching, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 3.- Verify if failure is still present, review if there is lack of communication between SCCM and BCM. For example, activate turn signals or wipers. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session if BCM is receiving information from SCCM. Through diagnosis review if activation from horn, wipers or turn signal is requested and are working. 5.- Disconnect the SCCM fuse for around 30s,and repeat the previous steps to see if failure still present. 6.- Do a hard reset to BCM and evaluate if any DTC is set. Retest if failure still present. Review the active DTCs. 7.- Before replacing the SCCM disconnect it and reconnect it again. Note: Wipers position is not controlled by SCCM, verify motor wiper status if issue continues. If request from SCCM is sent to BCM, then verify if the communication to wipers is not working properly. If there are no DTC's active, physical defects, steering controls inop, wipers inop, heated steering wheel inop, then SCCM does not need to be replaced."

observe that the interior door panel is not properly seated or attached. Panel(s) may appear warped or out of position in some areas. No signs of damage should be expected. How to diagnose: Visually inspect the door panel(s) for proper installation and check for the presence of broken or loose clips. Remove the panel and inspect clips and clip towers. Next step would be reinstalling the panel if visual inspection does not find any issues. Repair Procedure: Require a picture of the door panel(s) in the 'as found' condition so we can understand what warped means in the claims that are being created. After, check the door panel for proper installation and for the presence of broken or loose clips. Remove the panel, following normal servicing procedure, and inspect clips and clip towers. If any clips are broken or missing, replace prior to reinstalling original door. After confirmation that no loose/broken/damaged clips and/or clip towers, and reinstalling door panels does not correct issue, then a 'front door trim panel' kit / claim would be acceptable. In this case, Stellantis would like to request the panel back. How to validate fix: Verify that door has no loose/broken/damaged clips and/or clip towers. Replace any broken/missing clips where possible. Then validate that reinstalling the interior door panel addresses initial issue made within the claim.

This may be reported after the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operating temperature, turned off and then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a vehicle wash). Lens fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been parked outside overnight (i.e. a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). Read full bulletin

Root cause was identified as anti-rotation bracket (connects the actuator to the stabar) coming loose due to inadequate clamp load at the joint and weld (holds the bolt shaft and bracket flange) was poorly designed. If any vehicle causes BSR because of this Bracket failure (loose joint/ bracket bends) DO NOT replace whole stabar assembly, instead replace with the service kit (PN#68730602AA). Dealer must need to order the parts from part ordering system for this claim. This kit contains 1 bracket (PN 68730603AA), 3 M10 Nut (PN 68730605AA), 2 M8X1.5 Bolt (PN 68730606AA) and 2 M10X1.5 bolt (PN 06513427AA). 1 M10 Bolt (PN 68730607AA). This kit will also contain a new torque instruction for the bolt which holds the clamp bracket to this failed anti-rotation bracket. DO NOT apply the old torque (45+/5Nm Direct torque). The new torque is Angle controlled torque monitor (20Nm Snug torque, 110 deg Angle, monitor torque within 40-70Nm). Please use Service Library for your reference."
