and Jeep Grand Wagoneer all utilize next generation Driver Airbag (DAB) and steering wheel systems. These new systems use the mass of the DAB as a damper toreduce steering wheel vibration experienced by the driver. The DAB is still securely attached to the steering wheel but now has specially tuned isolators to allow a small amountof damping movement of the DAB. A driver of these vehicles may, at times, notice this movement or vibration of the DAB within the steeringwheel compared to past systems; however, this is normal and an expected function of the damping system.

and Jeep Grand Wagoneer all utilize next generation Driver Airbag (DAB) and steering wheel systems.

ADJUSTER Valve Lash Customer's complaint may include a ticking noise coming from the engine.

Read full bulletin

Technician's observations can refer to spongy or stuck hydraulic lash adjusters. Exhaust lash adjusters found with a "spongy" condition (compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. EXHAUST lash adjusters are designed to be COMPRESSIBLE by hand. Intake lash adjusters found with a stiff or stuck condition (non-compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. INTAKE lash adjusters are designed to be NON COMPRESSIBLE by hand. Do Not Replace EXHAUST lash adjusters when the following condition is present: should be compressible, but they will exert a reactionary spring force during compression and return to full expansion without a compression force. Do Not Replace INTAKE lash adjusters when the following condition is present: should feel very firm and difficult to compress. Once the correct functioning of the intake and exhaust lash adjusters is validated with the procedure above, refer to the Service Manual "HYDRAULIC LIFTER(S) NOISE DIAGNOSIS" procedure. After the corresponding service procedures from the Service Manual involving the Lash Adjusters have been conducted, refer to the detailed instructions in the Service Manual to diagnose and/or service any other component.

turning off, wipers not returning to position, heated steering wheel not working and/or steering controls inop, please follow these steps: 1.- Review if there is any active DTC. Refer to service library procedure and follow diagnosis steps. 2.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches', horn's, heated steering wheel, airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion or pinching, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 3.- Verify if failure is still present, review if there is lack of communication between SCCM and BCM. For example, activate turn signals or wipers. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session if BCM is receiving information from SCCM. Through diagnosis review if activation from horn, wipers or turn signal is requested and are working. 5.- Disconnect the SCCM fuse for around 30s,and repeat the previous steps to see if failure still present. 6.- Do a hard reset to BCM and evaluate if any DTC is set. Retest if failure still present. Review the active DTCs. 7.- Before replacing the SCCM disconnect it and reconnect it again. Note: Wipers position is not controlled by SCCM, verify motor wiper status if issue continues. If request from SCCM is sent to BCM, then verify if the communication to wipers is not working properly. If there are no DTC's active, physical defects, steering controls inop, wipers inop, heated steering wheel inop, then SCCM does not need to be replaced."

All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

observe that the interior door panel is not properly seated or attached. Panel(s) may appear warped or out of position in some areas. No signs of damage should be expected. How to diagnose: Visually inspect the door panel(s) for proper installation and check for the presence of broken or loose clips. Remove the panel and inspect clips and clip towers. Next step would be reinstalling the panel if visual inspection does not find any issues. Repair Procedure: Require a picture of the door panel(s) in the 'as found' condition so we can understand what warped means in the claims that are being created. After, check the door panel for proper installation and for the presence of broken or loose clips. Remove the panel, following normal servicing procedure, and inspect clips and clip towers. If any clips are broken or missing, replace prior to reinstalling original door. After confirmation that no loose/broken/damaged clips and/or clip towers, and reinstalling door panels does not correct issue, then a 'front door trim panel' kit / claim would be acceptable. In this case, Stellantis would like to request the panel back. How to validate fix: Verify that door has no loose/broken/damaged clips and/or clip towers. Replace any broken/missing clips where possible. Then validate that reinstalling the interior door panel addresses initial issue made within the claim.

Over the Air (FOTA) update and provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. The radio software will be updated from R41 to R45.National launch for this FOTA update is expected to begin September 9, 2022. Customers may experience one or more of the following: Radio display is blank (rear view camera still operable). Comfort screen oscars and heat wave graphic for steering wheel is gray when they should be white. Assist, SOS, Wi-Fi, IVA and IVM apps are showing on HU screen when ignition is set to run. During "Screen Off", shifting to reverse and then back to park, the screen shows for a second before transitioning back to Screen Off (from R to P), (The desired behavior is screen transitions from the rear-view camera back to the Screen Off state when the vehicle is taken out of Reverse). Priority volume is not working on SCA radio channels. Status Bar Icons are not functioning in Android Auto projection page. Cannot add any apps as shortcuts on widgets screen. Radio displays a blank screen for app selection. Slow screen transitions from Playing to Browse tab in media App and slow system responses observed. User able to add Driver/Passenger Heated Seat and Heated Wheel shortcut twice. Wireless AA (Galaxy S10+) is not connecting after overnight sleep. If SXM that receives no satellite signal is registered in preset, the registered FM/AM stations after that cannot be selected by steering wheel controls preset buttons are not displayed when FM/AM is selected in the now playing widget. Home screen to add Media to shortcuts but FM, AM, SXM, USB are all greyed out blank screen and reset. Home screen got stuck and says "Loading data please wait" for multiple key cycles. Issue recovered after radio hard reset, Vented seat icons showing on car without Vent.

layer of condensation on the SYMPTOM: inside of the lenses Fig. 1. This may be reported after the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operating temperature, turned off and then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a vehicle wash). Lens fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been parked outside overnight (i.e. a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). This will usually clear as atmospheric conditions change to allow the condensation to change back into a vapor. Turning the taillamps on will usually accelerate this process. This bulletin is to communicate the procedure for rear taillamp condensation clearing.

Rear Tail Lamp Condensation Clearing Procedure This bulletin is to communicate the procedure for rear tail lamp condensation clearing.

Read full bulletin

Some customers may report that on occasion, vehicle exterior tail lamp assemblies are fogged with a light layer of condensation on the inside of the lenses. This may be reported after the lamps have been turned on and brought up to operatingtemperature, turned off, and then rapidly cooled by cold water (such as rain, or the water from a vehicle wash). Lens fogging can also occur under certain atmospheric conditions after a vehicle has been parked outside overnight (i.e., a warm humid day followed by clear cool night). This will usually clear as atmospheric conditions change to allow the condensation to change back into avapor. Turning the tail lamps on will usually accelerate this process.Clear Tail Lamp AssemblyTail Lamp Assembly with CondensationImages are not specific to vehicle, and only used for showing the tail lamps either clearFig.1or having a condensation build up within the tail lamp assemblyFig.2per the procedure.
