Prior to beginning any repair, please call John Zbranchik at 248-576-0756 or Pablo Flores at 248-576-3972. If no reply contact Dil Weerasinha at 248-944-5967 or Jay Nagle 248-576-5657. If you are unable to contact any of the above, and all the DTCs related to loss of comm are STORED, first perform a vehicle scan with a wiTECH tool or similar and email the log to john.zbranchik@fcagroup.com and pablo.flores1@fcagroup.com. Ensure all stored DTCs in the vehicle are recorded in the log. Use the tool to clear all codes and ensure the ?Service Shifter? message does not return. If this is the first occurrence of this issue on this vehicle, do NOT replace the shifter at this time. If any DTCs related to loss of comm with the shifter are ACTIVE, a full bus log is highly desired. Please contact a regional tech representative to acquire this log. After the log is acquired, or if this is not feasible, check for loose/bent pins, spread terminals on both the male pin cavity in the shifter and the female connector from the body harness take out and all grounds. If no issues are found, replace the shifter and return it to the Quality Engineering Center (QEC).

All Promaster (VF) 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.

Please comprehend it to avoid repeat repairs. There are 2 sections each with 3 sub-sections: 1) For 2014/5 VINs with DK2 = 1-spd RDM 2) For 2016 and later VINs with DK2 = 1-spd RDM 1) For 2014/5 VINs with DK4 = 2-spd RDM 2014 - 2015 VINs built with a 2-speed RDM used a 24 plate clutch design. Service RDMs (DK4: 68545100AA and DK4 + AWL: 68545101AA) have a 20-plate design. 1.1) If replacing the RDM 24-plate and 20-plate design RDMs are NOT interchangeable unless the Drive Line Control Module (DLCM) is also replaced. Both 68545100A$ and 68545101A$ service RDMs have a 20 clutch plate design Not all 20 plate RDMs have the new pump design. The new pump requires a new DLCM. All new service RDMs are shipped with the new pump design. If a new 20 plate service RDM is installed, then replace the DLCM with new DLCM 68383660AE - 2-spd designed for the 20 plate RDM. 1.2) If replacing the DLCM but not the RDM or pump assembly, then If the RDM is the original 24 plate design then use 68540646AA - 2-spd, 24 plate DLCM AND also replace the pump with 68551790AA new pump. If the RDM is the new 20 plate design then use 68383660AE - 2-spd, 20 plate DLCM AND also replace the pump with 68551790AA new pump unless the RDM previously had a 68551790AA installed. 1.3) If replacing the pump assembly, then use 68551790AA (new pump) AND also replace the DLCM with the version that matches the correct version of the RDM (24 or 20 plate). Use 68540646AA for the 24-plate RDM with a new pump. Use 68383660AE for the 20-plate RDM with a new pump. 2) Early 2016 were built with 24 plate RDMs. These include p/n?s 68090615AJ (2spd std), and 52123642AJ (2spd locker). Use Secti

Front of Vehicle or DTC C1266 ACC Sensor Blinded, please verify that there is no blockage in front of the sensor. Blockage can occur from mud, ice, snow, front end damage, bracket damage, the sensor not attached to the bracket properly or an aftermarket fascia installed. This fault can occur intermittently in muddy or icy/snowy conditions and is considered normal operation. Under some circumstances, a misaligned sensor can also cause the C1266 DTC, please complete an alignment procedure. No replacement is required.~ 2) If you are replacing this part due to the cluster displaying ?ACC/FCW Unavailable Service Required?, please check the DTC fault codes. This will indicate which module needs to be serviced (TCM, PCM, ESP/ABS, etc). This fault is not due to the ACC Sensor. No sensor replacement is required.~ 3) If you have fault code DTC C125E ACC Sensor Adjustment Required, please verify that the radar sensor is fully seated in the clips and there is no damage (if clips are damaged on a 2013 or earlier vehicle, order P/N 68085813A$, otherwise please replace the module), please verify there is no blockage to the sensor due to mud, ice, snow, front end damage, bracket damage or the sensor not attached to the bracket properly. Perform the Vertical Alignment and the Electronic Horizontal Alignments procedure as stated in the service manual. Please note, if the horizontal alignment procedure will not complete, check the vertical alignment and confirm that the sensor is seated properly. Rerun the horizontal alignment procedure. No sensor replacement is required. **Hints for running Horizontal Alignment procedure: A) Verify speed is between 45 and 75 mph, B) verify the road is relatively straight with signs, poles, guard rails, etc C) Do not tail a vehicle too closely this inhibits the learning procedure
