CARB REQUIRES THIS LABEL AS EVIDENCE THAT, AT HTE TIME OF MANUFACTURE, THE ENGINE INSTALLED MET THE APPLICABLE EMISSION STANDARDS. SHOULD THE LABEL BE FOUND MISSING OR DAMGED DURING AN INSPECTION, A CITATION AND PENALTIES MAY BE ISSUED. "CLEAN AIR IDLE" LABELS ARE PRINTED WITH A SERIAL NUMBER AND REGISTERED TO AN INDIVIDUAL VIN. AS A RESULT, A REPLACEMNET LABEL WILL ALSO INCLUDE A NEW SERIAL NUMBER WHICH MUST BE REGISTERED TO THE VEHICLE'S VIN BY THE MANUFACTURER. Alkaline detergents are typically used in industrial settings and are reactive with the paint, metals, and other materials used to make up the exterior components of Isuzu vehicles. Isuzu recommends that only neutral detergents be used when washing Isuzu vehicles. However, if alkaline detergents are used to wash an Isuzu vehicle, it is crucial that all traces of the detergent are rinsed away with water or wiped off as necessary.
