These items are packaged in the trunk of the vehicles, and are expected to be installed by the retailer at time of sale, assuming client agreement. The Performance Package is listed as a $1,206 VPC Accessory on the Monroney label. The MSRP is not inclusive of labor, which INFINITI had earlier directed retailers to charge to clients at time of sale. Effective January 11th, INFINITI will only offer the Performance Package items through Motorsports & the package will be deleted from all future Q50/Q60 orders. For the remaining vehicles with the Performance Package in retailer inventory, retailers are not to charge labor to clients. found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (cv Joint Boot Kit) availability. If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the retailer. If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to ITB21-002 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.
