has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists with certain model motorcycles listed above. During backwards rolling, the rear brake caliper may crack near the primary pin casting, which may cause the caliper to break when riding. Cracks or breaks in the rear brake caliper can reduce braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. To remedy this defect, the rear brake caliper including the caliper bracket must be replaced on all affected motorcycles.

has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists with certain 2022, 2023 and 2024 Husqvarna motorcycles equipped with BRAKTEC front brake calipers. Irregularities were found in the casting structure of one of our brake supplier's subcontractors. In the worst case, this can lead to the front brake caliper cracking in the area around the upper guide pin. See Figures 1 and 2. If the front brake caliper cracks at the upper guide pin it may reduce the braking systems effectiveness. For this reason, the manufacturer of the brake caliper casting must be checked on affected vehicles and replaced if necessary. The differentiation between the suppliers of the cast raw parts of affected vehicles can be seen directly on the brake caliper, see Figures 3 and 4.
On motorcycles with the currently installed start/stop switch (p.n.A49011074000), there may be problems with the motorcycle starting automatically.

For this reason, the start/stop switch (p.n. A49011074000) installed on affected motorcycles must be replaced with a different version (p.n. A46011074000). Affected motorcycles can continue to be used, but the key must be turned off when these motorcycles are not being ridden (e.g. parking, storage, transportation, etc.).
