The mount spring for the rearview mirror is a one-time use item. Upon installation, a new mount spring must be torqued to the specification noted in Service Information.

Also, they should avoid pulling up firmly on the switch to prevent activating automatic operation and the Auto-Up feature.

Check your current inventory and return any inventory of these parts to American Honda immediately that are missing the 2 silver tabs/clips. They tabs/clips may be loose in the package.
