Pair the iPhone to the system then enter the Bluetooth settings menu, select the ?i? icon next to the vehicle name in the device and enable show notifications. The text messaging feature will be available on the next ignition cycle. However with iPhones text messages cannot be responded to when using the infotainment system, they can only be received. For android devices pair the phone to the system during the pairing process the phone will ask you to allow the vehicle to access the device contacts. A second question will pop up on the device asking to allow the vehicle to access the message access profile. Both have to be allowed for the text messaging feature to work.

Certain vehicles may have a condition where the Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA) modules may fail or malfunction due to water intrusion. The driver may experience a side blind zone alert message displayed on the driver instrument cluster (DIC). If this message is ignored, the condition could result in the corruption of LS GMLAN that may result in the loss of some driver interface functions such as cluster, infotainment / displays, chime, and passenger presence detection (passenger airbag could be suppressed, w/airbag TT, DIC message). Dealers are to repair the vehicle by ordering and installing the appropriate service kit. The service kit will contain all of the components required to complete the repair. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

Vehicle applies emergency brakes with no vehicle in front in areas with overhead structures. Adaptive Cruise control drops out in barren landscape areas. Adaptive Cruise Control Temporarily Unavailable message appears in the IP. Cause This condition may be due to one of the following: Software occasionally takes longer than normal to identify a potential collision situation. Radar reflections look like an actual vehicle causing a brief activation of brakes. Radar does not see enough reflections so it assumes it is blocked and goes offline. Correction An updated software calibration has been released to address these conditions. A learn procedure (service alignment or service calibration) is not required.

In the past to perform the new transmitter procedure only one previously learned transmitter was required but this is no longer the case.
