Intake lash adjusters found with a stiff or stuck condition (non-compressible plunger) leading to the assumption of being defective/malfunctioning. Repair Procedure: 1. Open the hood and locate the hood switch 2. Push in on the two locking tabs and pull them out. 3. Disconnect the wire connector from the switch. 4. Connect the wires to the same hood switch. 5. Push the switch back into the hold until both lock tab are engaged. 6. Clear all DTCs that may have been set in any module during this repair procedure. 7. In case the P152F/P152E DTCs persist, repeat the procedure with a new/spare/known good switch and repeat steps 5 and 6. 8.
