screen or a blank center screen when using the submenus. This black screen may occur when preparing the RU for pre-delivery. Please do not replace the radio. The solution is to reset the radio and retry the submenus to assure that the issue is resolved. If the issue resolution is not in place, it is recommended that a hard reset be done for the ETMR1H. The hard reset can be done by disconnection of the radio completely and reconnecting. Another way is to completely disconnect the positive battery terminal such that the radio is completely without power and reconnecting. Once again, please do not remove and replace the radio with the failure mode of a black or blank screen. Current SW U42.13 is the production level SW for the ETMR1H and will be updated in the next few months."

gauge accuracy and drivability issues, the technician should disconnect the electrical connector at the pump and perform a visual inspection of the connector for and bent, spread, or pushed out terminals. Repair any issues found. Reconnect the plug and perform a push pull push to ensure the connector is fully installed. Then perform 3 keys cycles and listen to hear if the fuel pump is operational. If the fuel pump is heard that indicates that everything is operating correctly. If the pump is heard replacement is not necessary, any replacement will function in the same way.

DIFFERENTIAL Rear Axle Some AWD Chrysler Pacificas are exhibiting a grinding noise coming from the PTU when it's shifting from 2WD to AWD.

Read full bulletin

C1477-48 may also be present. To engage AWD, the DTCM energizes the hydraulic pump inside the RDM to apply the torque transfer clutch. This allows the propeller shaft to spin up to speed and match the front axle speed allowing the shift fork in the PTU to engage without clashing. The DTCM utilizes the pressure sensor on the RDM to determine the amount of hydraulic pressure applied to the clutches. If that pressure sensor fails, there can be inadequate pressure, preventing the driveshaft from coming up to speed when going into AWD. This will cause a grinding noise in the PTU. If the vehicle comes in with a grinding noise coming from the PTU, prior to replacing the PTU or RDM, replace the RDM pressure sensor 68227790AD and verify whether the concern has been resolved.
