Certain vehicles may have a condition in which the high-pressure fuel pump may crack and potentially leak fuel. This may occur over time with vehicle usage. If a fuel leak occurs, the customer may notice an odor. If the fuel leak is unaddressed, the vehicle may fail to start, exhibit reduced engine power, or lose propulsion. This will display a message on the Driver Instrument Cluster and illuminate the Check Engine Light. Dealers will replace the high-pressure fuel pump and insulator.

The ICCM sets the U0422 DTC after 1 second of either the door ajar VDA or door open VDA being unavailable. Correction Ignore CCM U0422 DTC (no service necessary) unless it is a current/active code or is accompanied by associated BCM faults U1534 or U1538.

Other symptoms may include: Passive Locking system locking keys in vehicle Push button start system failure to respond (cannot start or stop) with no remote detected message Passive entry system not responding to Lock/Unlock commands System not responding to active FOB key press lock, unlock, hatch/trunk, remote start and panic all inoperative Tire pressure monitor indicator illuminated with DTC's C0750, C0755, C0760 and C0765 with Symptom :29 Too Few Pulses. Cause This may be due to issues internal to the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver.

Rear View Camera Guidelines Not Present at Times Condition Some customers may report that the Rear View Camera (RVC)...

guidelines are temporarily not available at times but the RVC will remain on during the concern. Additionally, no related DTCs will be found if this bulletin applies. One example of when this concern may be observed is if a customer quickly starts the car and immediately places the shifter in Reverse while the infotainment system is still in the initial boot up process. Cause This is a result of the RVC image being provided via an alternate robust RVC feed from the Video Bypass Module (NGI systems) or from the radio (BYOM2 and Info 3.0 systems). This alternate robust RVC feed is provided in the event that the primary RVC feed is not available for any reason just to ensure that the RVC image is always present when in reverse. Correction If this concern is experienced and no related codes are present, DO NOT replace any parts as it is normal for the RVC guidelines not to be present when the RVC image being displayed is from the alternate robust RVC feed. If this occurs after quickly starting the vehicle and immediately placing the shifter in Drive, the RVC guidelines can be displayed again in most cases if they are really needed by safely coming to a stop, placing the transmission in Park for a moment, and then shifting to Reverse again.

In the past to perform the new transmitter procedure only one previously learned transmitter was required but this is no longer the case. Now, two previously learned transmitters are required to be placed into the cup holder and then the new transmitter to be programmed placed in the transmitter pocket. If this new procedure is not followed, the "adding transmitters without Service Programming System" cannot be performed. The technician will be forced to add a transmitter using Service Programming System.

Technician will gain access to the Radio or Human Machine Interface depending on the vehicle build. Install the EL-50334 test antenna to the Radio HMI and evaluate the operation.
