It provides the ability via a single selection within Techline Connect to first identify which modules need updating and then proceed to updating affected modules (with some exceptions). The updating of modules is completed in parallel instead of the technician needing to update one module at a time. This allows a more streamlined approach for dealers and customers.

The Technician may also find the following DTCs set. U1534 U1538 Information Based on analysis with the BCM team, during vehicle startup (on occasion) the PEPS module arbitration along with high bus traffic leads to the BCM setting the door open switch virtual device availability (VDA) to unavailable. The BCM does not update the VDA back to Available until the door switch changes state (this signal is event based as opposed to periodic). DTC U0422 The technician may find DTC U0422 set. The technician may also find the following DTCs set: U1534 U1538 Based on analysis with the BCM and Hybrid Powertrain Control Module (HPCM) teams, during vehicle startup (on occasion) the PEPS module arbitration along with high bus traffic leads to the BCM or HPCM setting the door open switch virtual device availability (VDA) to unavailable. The BCM or HPCM does not update the VDA back to Available until the door switch changes state (this signal is event based as opposed to periodic). The ICCM and HPCM sets the U0422 DTC after 1 second of either the door ajar VDA or door open VDA being unavailable
