Additionally, the Malfunction Indicator Light (Check Engine Light) would illuminate and a diagnostic trouble code would be set. This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 10 years or 150,000 miles (240,000 km) for Acadia, Cascada, Enclave, Traverse, vehicles or 10 years or 120,000 miles (193,000 km) for Caprice, Cruze, Encore, Impala, LaCrosse, Sonic and Trax vehicles, whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Dealers are to replace the evaporative emissions purge valve as necessary. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

Technician will inspect for a missing intake manifold Non Return Valve that may have damaged the PCV orifice diaphragm. Check for the return valve if it is not visible use a long cotton swab to wipe any excess oil from the valve to validate. If the non return valve is still not visible, then intake manifold removal for inspection is required to validate. When the valve is present reinstall the intake manifold. When the valve is not present replace the intake manifold assembly.

Technician will gain access to the Radio or Human Machine Interface depending on the vehicle build. Install the EL-50334 test antenna to the Radio HMI and evaluate the operation. If the GPS signal is restored, inspect for incorrect coax routing as described above and if found, reroute the cable so it does not bypass the splitter.
