Drivers and Service manuals list either 5W-20 or 5W-30 Engine Oil Requirements. At your next and all subsequent oil changes, Blue Bird recommends only the use of 5W-30 motor oil. All oils used must have the API certification mark. The current oil fill cap is labeled 5W-20. Install a new oil fill cap labeled 5W-30.

The new cluster will be in full production beginning June 5, 2017. During the time between now and June 5, 2017 Blue Bird will be building some pilot units with the new cluster. Until full implementation Feature 40280 -14 will be added to pilot units.
