The customer has a general concern related to Audi connect. Different features are included with different generations of the Audi connect system. The Audi connect Gen1 system includes all vehicles that utilize a removable plastic SIM card. The Audi connect Gen2 system includes all vehicles that utilize an embedded SIM card. The root cause of all complaints cannot be attributed to the vehicle hardware because of the backend server configurations that need to be correct in order for Audi connect to work. For most sporadic complaints, the issue typically resides with the MBB backend server or with the source data provider (Google, INRIX, etc.), and not with the vehicle. In rare cases, the mobile network operator (AT&T, T-Mobile) can be the cause of the complaint. For most static complaints, the issue can be attributed to the user account subscription or possibly the vehicle hardware.

With the introduction of Electronic Power Control (EPC) (no accelerator cable) to fuel injection systems, an engine RPM control feature has been incorporated into the engine electronic control system software. NEVER use protective wax. It can destroy the matte finish effect. Only use a microfiber cloth for cleaning (R8 ONLY).

The adaptation for enabling the eject button was either not performed at PDI or was not performed correctly (with a bus sleep immediately following the adaptation change). If ODIS OBD self-diagnosis was used, then it's possible a value of "1" was used, or if using the GFF test plan, the "CD/DVD Ejecting" option was incorrectly chosen. Setting the adaption to "1" or choosing the "CD/DVD Ejecting" option, is a one-time eject option that allows the ODIS tester to only eject the CD/DVD. This option does not permanently change the adaptation value and as a result the eject button remains disabled.

The license plate brackets are designed to be used with the appropriate-length screw installed by hand with a screwdriver.
